Students
Worry about your exams, not your health.
All international students in Canada must have health insurance. In provinces where international students are not covered under provincial health care plans, students must arrange for private health insurance coverage.
International Student insurance provides medical coverage for students from abroad studying full-time in Canada. It features additional benefits that are not found in a travel medical plan, such as annual general check-ups and emergency psychiatric treatment.

Why buy a Canadian product
Hospital room charges in Canada have risen to over $3,000 a day in some cases, and a major medical incident could easily cost over $150,000. Many international student health insurance plans provided from companies outside Canada do not provide enough coverage to match these costs.
Note: this is a summary only; the formal policy wording provided to each student is the only legally binding description of the coverage. Please see your policy wording for a full list of limitations and exclusions.
